    Elevate: Arlington - Upper Body

    5 stations, approximately 8 mins at each. Bikes/Row station: 40 sec moderate speed, 20 sec sprint, 8 each arm single arm overhead press, then repeat and decrease reps by 1 each round. Bench station: 6 per side bird dog row, 10 dumbbell pullovers, 12 bicep curls, then repeat and decrease bicep curl reps by 2 each round. Turf station: 12 hollow hold single-arm fly alternating arms, 16 medicine ball twists, 10 medicine ball rainbow slams, then repeat. Treadmill station: fast pace to 6 calories, 2 push-ups to alternating toe taps, repeat and add 2 calories and 2 pushup reps each round. Cage station: bench press 6-8 reps (reps in reserve), 10 band tricep pulldowns. There was also a warmup, 2 minutes of abs after the stations, and cool down stretching.

    Great, challenging but accessible functional HIIT class for all levels! Iā€™d heard good things about the gym and glad I decided to try the class! Nino was an AWESOME instructor, super welcoming and fun vibe and did a great job of explaining and demonstrating exercises. Will return!

    Great class! Two things I struggle with in this class: 1) the lights are really dim, it can be so hard to see. 2) the music is soooo loud. Itā€™s really hard to hear the instructor. Iā€™m 25, and I love a good club experience, but itā€™s a little much for a workout class imo. These two things made my first couple classes tough. But after a couple of classes, I am getting the hang of things!

    The class is better described as small group personal training. Got a full body workout in. Class went for a little over 30 min, not 45. DO NOT PARK behind the Ambar, parking is $7.45 for the hour. Park anywhere els if you can.
